SCS Recognizes Evan Carter
Evan Carter is literally off to a fast start this cross-country season. The junior runner has excelled this season to become the top runner in the MIAC conference winning all three conference meets by a comforable margin and winning the conference most valuable runner award. He has a fifth place finish at the Detriot Titan Invite where there were over two hundred of Southerstern Michigan top runners. Evan finished 39th at the highly competitive Oakland County meet as well as being the top time at the Detriot Country Day tri-meet. Evan took first in the regional championship earning himself a spot at the state meet where he placed 21st earning all state. Besides having a great season Evan embodies what a Southfield Christian student-athlete is all about by also excelling in the classroom while continuing his dedication on the athletic field. He is also an active member of Metro Detriot Christian Church. At the rate Evan is going he will finish his career as one of the top runners in Southfield Christian history.
