The Eagles Hire Two New Coaches to Patrol the Diamond

The varsity baseball and softball teams will both be under new leadership this spring with the hiring of two new head coaches.  Rich Satterfield takes over a baseball program that could only muster one win last year.  The current Southfield Christian Social Studies Teacher is looking to rebuild the program to it’s years of dominance which saw the Eagles make it to the state title game back in 2005.

The varsity softball team will see a new head coach for the first time in thirty years and only the third time in school history.  Dave Erdmann takes over for hall of fame coach, Ken Brown, who retired from coaching after last season.  Erdmann, a former assistant under Coach Brown, returns a strong nucleolus of players from last year’s team that finished 2nd in the league and lost in the district finals.  Please join us in welcoming our two new coaches.
