Development
The Development Office exists to foster meaningful relationships between SCS and its families, alumni, and friends throughout the community. These friends help support SCS in many ways - through volunteerism, prayer, and financial support.
Volunteerism
Most of the events at the school could not happen without the help of the parents and friends of SCS. Click on some of the events highlighted above to see how you can use your time and talents to help at SCS.
Prayer
Our families, alumni, and friends are significant prayer warriors for the ministry at SCS, and we are grateful for each and every prayer on behalf of the staff, faculty, students, and families. We would covet prayers for the spiritual health of the school and for our academic, athletic, fine arts, and special activities. Some friends use the School Calendar, Secondary “Daily”, and Elementary Weekly “Parent Notes” (all on this website) to pray more specifically for our school.
Financial Support
The private financial support of the Alumni and friends of SCS is a vital supplement to the traditional funding (i.e., tuition income) of the school. This support enables the school to achieve a level of excellence in education that would not otherwise be possible. The Development office seeks to match a donor's philanthropic interests with various SCS opportunities and to use all donated funds to strengthen the school and its future.
