Annual Fund

Each year, our budget includes a designated amount of money that we seek to raise through gifts to the school and fundraising events. This amount represents the difference between our revenue and actual operating costs. The Annual Fund is a means of communicating this need to the entire SCS community. Rather than viewing various fundraising and activities as separate initiatives, it offers a clear picture of our overall goal.

Endowment Fund

For over 30 years, the phrase "pursuing excellence for the glory of God" has been synonymous with the ministry and vision of Southfield Christian School. Not only has this slogan appeared in print on various school letterheads and brochures, but it has transcended the written word and has become a heartfelt belief and critical aspect of the mission of Southfield Christian. However, the pursuit of excellence does not occur without cost. It is achieved only through an equation combining dedicated teachers, committed parents, and sufficient funding for the school programs.

Slavin Scholarship Fund

Dr. George Slavin was called to pastor Highland Park Baptist Church in 1971 and served until his death in March of 1979. In addition to his pastoring responsibilities, he had a special interest in Christian education and was a great supporter of Southfield Christian School.
