Endowment Fund

For over 30 years, the phrase "pursuing excellence for the glory of God" has been synonymous with the ministry and vision of Southfield Christian School. Not only has this slogan appeared in print on various school letterheads and brochures, but it has transcended the written word and has become a heartfelt belief and critical aspect of the mission of Southfield Christian. However, the pursuit of excellence does not occur without cost. It is achieved only through an equation combining dedicated teachers, committed parents, and sufficient funding for the school programs.

To accomplish this goal, the Endowment Fund was established in May of 1983 to provide interest income on a continual basis to meet critical areas of the school's development. Since that time, over $1,000,000 has been received from friends and family members of our SCS community. And since that time, teacher salaries have been supplemented by the earnings generated from these generous gifts.
