Parent Teacher Fellowship

Our major parent support group is known as the Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF). All parents are members of PTF and are asked to volunteer their service or time in a least one project per year. PTF projects coordinators are listed below. Revenues from PTF functions are contributed directly to school programs and projects around the school. In the past we have purchased score boards, playground equipment, bleachers, gym curtains, lockers, computer upgrades for the IMac Lab and this year - Laptops for teachers, video projectors and elementary gym referbishing.

How can I be involved in PTF?

So often we get the question: "How can I be involved in PTF?" It is important that every parent and teacher recognize that we are all part of PTF. PTF touches our children in ways that are often not recognized. Such events like funding the "Battle of the Books" or helping in student leadership luncheons, and even Pizza Days are part of PTF. It is the many volunteers that make all of these events possible. Some projects include making phone calls, or helping with a one-time event. Call a Committee Chairperson and get more connected with SCS.

Eagle Bucks earns TUITION REBATE!

Big News! Eagle Bucks purchased by parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and neighbors will earn SCS families a TUITION REBATE that will be issued in April 2007 and will be based on Eagle Bucks purchased between March 1, 2006 through February 28, 2007.

This is how it can work for you! The purchases you are making each week can be me made with store certificates (Eagle Bucks), with 20% of the profit margin going towards the tuition rebate and 80% towards the current PTF project. You may purchase Eagle Bucks using cash, check or credit card. However, if you use the credit card, only stores with a 5% and above can be charged and your tuition rebate will be lower to help cover the credit card fee costs.

Start earning your tuition rebate today by placing an Eagle Bucks order. Completely fill out the form in each school office. We have the certificates on hand everyday in the Administration office.
