SCS Audio Eagle News:
January 2009
|
We recently were notified that Kidcast had selected Test Tube
TV as the best student created inquiry podcast! Dan Schmit said
of the podcast, “Their show is a great example of using podcasting
to document and share a process that is clearly linked to understanding
the world around you. They create experiment podcasts that students
in other schools could easily use to conduct their own experiments.
I really like their show because it isn’t just about passively
watching or listening, it’s about doing…or more accurately…it’s
about doing science and inquiry.” We are delighted to receive
this award!

at the conference, they interviewed some teachers and recorded their

We are excited to announce that we have received a grant from MACUL
to buy equipment for a podcasting class for the 2006 school year! With
these funds we have been able to purchase software, digital voice recorders,
microphones, keyboards, and other equipment so that students can learn
how to podcast.
