One day when I arrived home from school, I did all my homework. Right about the time I was going to bed my dad came home.  My sister screamed and I went to go see what was wrong.  I saw my mother standing there and holding a small puppy in her sweater.  His name was Rocky.  He is a shitso and he was about 3 months old.  We went to Pet Smart and bought him food, dishes, bed, toys, and shampoo.  Rocky today  is one iand a half.

   When we where going to be pick up from the Y.M.C.A. the power went out.  We thought that someone was playing with the lights so we didn't do anything about it. But when they were going to turn the light switch on it didn't work.  Then we knew that the power was out for sure. It was a very hot day and since the power was out we had to go out in the hot weather. It took about an extra hour before my parents arrived to pick us up. When they finally got there it was almost 6:30, but then we had to the store to get food that we could eat that didn't need to be cold or frozen. When we got home it was about 7:30 and since it was summer I could play for a long time. The next day it was my mother's birthday. Her parents were in town but she did know that, but dad did it as a birthday present for her. After everyone said hello we went on a bike ride because we couldn't watch T.V.  After a few days the power was back on and we went to spend the night at our cousin's house for a few days.
