Do you remember when you were in second grade and it was time to learn cursive? I do! It all started on one gloomy day and my teacher said, “Today we are going to learn cursive !” Every one was excited. The way she showed us made it look very easy. I started to write with my favorite pencil until it cracked. I was very upset so I decided not to write and my teacher noticed me. She talked to me and convinced me that another pencil would help me. After awhile of fiddling, it clicked. Now that I’m in 6th grade, looking back learning cursive wasn’t that bad. |

While learning cursive I had difficulties. I started
out okay until I cracked my pencil. Then I just gave up because I didn’t
think it was worth it. But, someone was watching me, my teacher came over
to me and guided me to a positive attitude. She helped me until I got it.
Looking back, I realize that I showed perseverance with my cursive, making
me stronger in my faith. Yes, God had a reason and I’m thankful.
