We have an exciting instructional technology program to offer our elemetary students. Our elementary eMac lab was updated at the start of 2006 with new computers and a laser printer. It features 27 student computers, 2 teacher computers (which can view and control the student machines), 2 printers, 2 scanners, and a rear projection system with a Smartboard touch screen that is used for group instruction. In addition, every classroom is equipped multiple computers which were updated in fall of 2008. Digital still and video cameras are available for teacher use. Our school has received grants from MACUL and Best Buy to purchase equipment to assist with podcasting and other technology instruction. Our teachers have laptops which are used for attendance, grading, lessons, and communication with parents.
Our lab has a broad range of software to aid in the instruction of word processing, computer drawing, and multimedia presentation skills. It also is connected to the internet, and is used for research instruction.

Our full time computer instructor, Miss Karen Bosch, meets with each class once a week to give lessons in computer skills. She also works with teachers to develop lessons that integrate technology into classroom instruction.
Miss Bosch was named as a 2007 Apple Distinguished Educator. You can contact her at:
