Elementary French and Spanish classes are designed to provide students with an exposure to these two world languages, and to some of the many countries and cultures which speak these languages. Music, sample foods, games, puppets and computer programs combine to maximize your students' experiences. Grades K, 2, & 4 work and play in Spanish. Grades 1, 3, & 5 work and play in French. Our goal is to have positive experiences with the French and Spanish languages and cultures & for students to appreciate them. Students will work to learn some basic expressions in each language such as appropriate greetings and leave takings, colors, and numbers; students learn to respond to commands in their target language,to express basic needs, likes and dislikes, and they listen to stories, learn Bible verses and Christian songs in their new language too. We anticipate a great new school year!
