High School

By offering a challenging, college-preparatory education grounded on the principles of the Bible, Southfield Christian High School seeks to prepare young people to live full and productive lives. Our goal is not only to provide a strong academic foundation for college, but also to offer a firm Christian perspective for life. By joining with parents, Southfield Christian High School desires to form a partnership with the home in providing young men and women with a strong biblical foundation and a network of Christian relationships. SCS is committed to helping students thrive academically, athletically, socially and spiritually.

In recent years, 95 to 100 percent of graduating seniors gained college admission, with four-year scholarships totaling more than $1 million per class of 55 students. Numerous students have been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. SCS students perform well on standardized tests too. For example, 93 percent of all ninth graders scored at grade level or above when compared to the national sample of students participating in a national testing program. In one representative graduating class, 80 percent of our students participating in the Advanced Placement Examinations were eligible to earn college credit for their efforts. While the national average on the ACT was 21, SCS students averaged 25.
