Highlights: SCS vs. Light & Life 2-21-08
The JV boys basketball team ended their season with a big 60-35 win last night over Light and Life, which gave them an impressive 14-5 record under first year coach Jason Krug. The team was once again led by an amazing double double from Michael Parker, this time with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Noah Gilson finished the season by hitting five 3-point shots, making 17 points overall, 7 boards, and a team-leading 6 assists. Stevan Miller also hit a three-pointer and finished with 5 points and 2 boards. Cory Kelly added 4 points and 10 boards. Adding 2 points apiece were Derek Holecek, Bryan Ford, and Kevin Beal. Brook Vosler---setting up the offense for the Eagles---rounded out the Eagles’ scoring with 3 points and 5 assists. Many thanks to all of the people who supported the JV team this year, including our JV cheerleaders!
