“…But when the time had fully come, God sent His Son...” (Gal. 4:4). God chose the timing of His Son’s birth and the Good News traveled fast! The “time” was when the Roman Empire had brought relative peace and a road system, which encouraged travel; when the Grecian civilization provided a language familiar to all men; when the Jews had high hopes for the Messiah’s arrival!

The New Testament contains 27 books, written by 8 men, over a period of perhaps 60 years. Even though each book has a unique purpose, all the books are incredibly unified and clearly inspired by God.

The theme of the New Testament is JESUS! His teaching, His life, His Church and His return are all given to us for our instruction and godly living. If you’ve ever asked yourself “What Would Jesus Do?” then let’s study His Book to us and find out!
