Basketball Unit

The high school P.E. students will doing a unit on basketball. They will work on passing, dribbling, shooting and defensive skills. The rules of the game, infractions, scoring, size of the court and offensive and defensive strategies will be discussed. The unit will begin on Tuesday, November 11th and end on Tuesday November 25th. A unit quiz will be given at the end of the unit.

Volleyball

The class will be participating in a unit on volleyball. They will be learning how to serve, pass and set as well as learning the rules of the game. Proper footwork and striking techniques will be emphasized.

Just a reminder that the P.E. classes will going outdoors as much as possible during this quarter. It would be a great idea to have an extra pair of socks, sweat shirt, sweat pants and an extra pair of gym shoes.
