Wright Stuff Workshop

Region 6 Science Olympiad is pleased to announce a free flight workshop for Balloon Launch Glider (B) and Wright Stuff (C) on Saturday, December 8th, from 9-3 at Birmingham Covington Middle School. Jeff Anderson, national event supervisor and flight expert, will be presenting tips and helping you and your students as they build and fly their planes and gliders that day!
Tammy Brown from Birmingham Covington Middle School is generously hosting our workshop site and the region 6 Science Olympiad will be covering all costs for attending the workshop (though not supplies). Rider's Hobby Shop of Livonia has agreed to come and have materials available for purchase at a 20% discount that day for workshop attendees. Rider's is also willing to do tax-exempt sales with proper tax-exempt numbers. A list of supplies and costs are on the attached registration form.
All that is necessary to attend is to pre-register by emailing Nicole Hays (nicolehays@gmail.com) using the attached form by November 27th (the Tuesday after Thanksgiving break) so we can have the correct number of tables and supplies prepared. Please check with your teams as soon as possible so we can get an accurate count by the 27th.
