The Southfield Christian Athletic Hall of Honor added two new members Friday night with the induction of longtime golf coach, Marty Miller and 2001 alumnus Erinn (Voytal) Gankosky.  Coach Miller served as the SCS golf coach for 19 seasons from 1997 through 2016.  His teams’ captured 3 M.I.A.C. Conferenced titles in 1997, 1998, and 2004.  They also won the 2005 and 2013 MHSAA District titles.  In 2000 and 2004 his teams’ finished 4th in the state at the MHSAA championships.  Marty along with his wife Pat have four children and 7 grandchildren.  Congratulations Coach Marty Miller on your induction into the SCS athletics hall of honor!
Erinn Voytal Gankosky was a standout softball player for the Eagles for four years.  She helped guide the team to four MIAC Conference and four MHSAA District titles while also helping the Eagles win two MHSAA Regional titles.  The former team captain earned numerous honors during her high school career including conference Player of the year honors and being named all-state multiple times.  Erinn still ranks highly in the SCS softball record books for RBI’s, doubles, and wins in a season.  She ranks 4th in her career in program history in doubles with 26, strikeouts with 438, and wins with 47.  After her fantastic career, Erinn signed and played softball for Oakland University.  Erinn is married to her husband Brock and together they have three children.  They currently live in Perrysburg, Ohio.  Congratulations Erinn Gankosky on your induction into the SCS athletics hall of honor!
