2023 Hall of Honor Inductees

Corey Krug, Class of 2002.  Corey was a standout baseball player for the Eagles holding numerous school records which include most career wins with 26, most career strikeouts with 266, most career hits with 133, and most strikeouts in a season with 94.  He also has the 2nd most wins in a season with eight, 4th most home runs in a career with six, 5th most runs scored in a career with 96 and the 5th most career doubles with 23.  As a former all-state player Corey helped the Eagles to four MIAC Conference Titles, three MHSAA District Titles, and an MHSAA Regional Title.  After graduating from SCS Corey went on to play baseball at NCAA Division II Hillsdale College where he can be found listed in their record books for the 5th and 6th best seasons for strikeouts and the 6th most wins in a season.  Corey is currently a Real Estate Investor and Broker for Berkadia Commercial Mortgage in Bluffton, Indiana.  He is married to his wife Cylie and together they have three children, Ella, Palmer, and Kennedy.  Congratulations Corey on your Hall of Honor Induction.
 
Charity Godbold Class of 2014.  Charity was a two-time all-state player who was the most prolific scorer in girls’ basketball history.  The four-year varsity player is the program’s all-time leading scorer with 1,419 career points.  She has the highest-scoring seasons in school history with 421 points in the 2011-12 season and 550 points during the 2012-13 season where she averaged over 26 points per game.  Charity’s 41 points in a game set a single-game school record in 2014 that stood for six years.  She also stands as the all-time leader in career steals with 211 and had a school record single game where she had 13 steals.  Charity was named to the 1st All-Conference team 3 times in her career and went on to play collegiately at Parkland College and later at the University of Michigan Dearborn where she earned her undergraduate degree in health policy.  Charity is currently finishing an EMT program while preparing to start graduate school.  Congratulations Charity on your Hall of Honor Induction.
